Ponder Elementary
Ponder Elementary is a pre-kindergarten through sixth grade school with a strong academic program that includes fine arts and physical education. A new wing to the elementary school opened in 1996 featuring a large music and art room, as well as six classrooms. At the beginning of this school year, four new classrooms will be added. The school's principal is Janell Wilbanks. Mrs. Wilbanks has been a kindergarten and second grade teacher in Northwest ISD for 15 years. She holds a Master's degree from the University of North Texas with extended graduate studies in Early Childhood Education from Texas Woman's University.

Ponder High School
Ponder High School is a seventh through twelfth grade school that stresses small class sizes and high academic achievement. High school students also excel in a variety of sports, UIL academics, One Act Play, Art, Student Council, Peer Assistance Leadership, and Agricultural Science activities. Other electives include Business, Computers, Journalism, Spanish and Homemaking courses. PHS offers the Minimum, Recommended, and Distinguished graduation programs. The school's principal is Chance Allen. Mr. Allen holds a Master's degree from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He has most recently served as Assistant Principal and Technology Director for Sanger ISD.
